Pioneers

We believe in the Bible as the plenary, inspired, inerrant Word of God; in God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; in the vicarious death of Jesus Christ for our sins, His virgin birth, His bodily resurrection, and His personal return; the necessity of the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in the work of regeneration and the building of the body of Christ; the creation of man by direct act of God; and the power of prayer.

In addition to our statement of faith, we would like to clarify some important ideas that are too often left unclarified or unsaid:

  1. We believe in the traditional family, which is constantly under attack from the world today. We believe in traditional morality -- purity before marriage and mutual faithfulness after saying "I do."
  2. We believe in the sanctity of life (each child is a gift from God whose life begins at conception); and the protection of our children before and after birth.
  3. We believe in the principles set forth in 1 Cor. 6:19-20 (" . . . therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's") and we believe that these principles should be reflected in our behavior, language, and appearance. It is our goal to utilize staff members whose lifestyles, choices and teaching uphold these principles. To participate in PIONEERS, you need not agree with these statements, but you need to understand that this is the basis from which PIONEERS will operate and the standard which all staff members and students will be required to uphold.

The following pages further explain the mission, method, and means utilized to accomplish the goals of PIONEERS.
