Pioneers - Our Mission The PIONEERS Co-op functions as a "Small Group" of the Jackson Area Home Educators. All families receiving tutorial or enrichment services from the Co-op must be current JAHE members, in good standing, in order to participate in JAHE's PIONEERS program. The mission of PIONEERS is to provide nurturing enrichment and educational opportunities that will complement the educational program JAHE members are using at home. PIONEERS is specifically designed to facilitate the needs of JAHE students in the grades 5/6 - 12. The Co-op also seeks to offer opportunities for younger children of staff and member families to learn and share in a group setting by enjoying the skills, talents, and support of the student and parent members participating in the Co-op. The following pages further explain the mission, method, and means utilized to accomplish the goals of PIONEERS.
